Good old Floppy disk

A friend asked me recently if I could do some calculations for his research project. I said yes, and sort of forgot after that.

Today he called to ask me if I still wanted to do this calculations and if he could drop by the information that I would need. Nothing strange you would think. Until he gave me a floppy disk, a FLOPPY DISK! I don't even have a floppy drive, luckily my dads computer is ancient! So I will be able to get the information but still... He does some fancy course he walks around in a suit, you at least aspect that he switched to USB sticks too?
