A Mighty MacBook

To start the week there was an exam, about 50% of the people didn't even show up and. About 20% of the 50 % of the people who did showed up, left before putting anything on paper. I think everyone needs a summer holiday?!

Yesterday evening my week got even worse (well not really, but I was a bit jealous). Steve came around to show his newest toy 'Arthur'. This new toy is a brand new MacBook, and did he pay for this piece of perfection? Of course not, the University for which he works paid for it.
If their hardware budget every gets to big....call me? (please....!)














How much fun can you have, who doesn't love Photo booth?

Good things also happened. I spoke to my aunt, she has a brother who lives in Brazil. He actually owns a couple of (holiday)apartments there. She said that everyone in the family is aways welcome to come visit him. Most people of my family are afraid to fly and others think a return flight to Brazil is about €3000. So not a lot of people are really willing to go there?! He lives there for a few years now and none of them have visit him jet. Well he must be lonely there with his (dominant) wive and his (creepy) mother-in-law. Maybe I should keep them company for a few days and travel around Brazil for a bit??

Last week I was looking around for the book: A Mighty Heart and my mum found it by accident this week for only €4 :) If only Oprah Winfrey would know, she reviewed the book on her show a few months ago.
