Sausages, potatoes and olives

People might think I have blog-stress (sorry John, I am just very busy). So I like to tell you all I do not have blog stress. Who don't I post regularly then? Few options: don't want to, busy or I have to chose between food and blogging.

Well I give you a little update about what's going on in my life. Accept I really need a holiday, I went to see Steve's friend and his girlfriend last weekend. Dan (or as I like to call him 'Shirley') doesn't like green things (vegetables), but he is very font of fried food. So what did Steve & Shirley make for breakfast? They made sausage and potatoes! I was waiting till they opened the can of beans, but that moment never came...

Shirley, Lucinda and Steve went to Amsterdam while I stayed in Leiden. This weekend there was some kind of 'dutch songs' festival, so every five minute you saw (and heared) a boat coming with jet another (tearjerker) dutch song. After seeing 3 boats I lost my interest in the singing people and I decided to go to the market, one of the bestest things of the market in Leiden is that the have at least 3 stalls with olives :)
After S&S&L arrived back in Leiden it was time for food, my favorite part of the day! After food we watched a dance film which I forgot the title of. (It was so bad and that obvious!)

Sunday Shirley and Luce went back home, but they could not leave before attempting to put the sleepsofa back into a sofa.

after arriving at Schiphol Steve and I soon found the new list what you can take on board of a plane and what not. It was a hilarious list, you can't take fake mines on the plane, neither can you take samurai swords in the plane, no toxins , no kayaks. All quit obvious, although they didn't think of: umbrella's, rockets, people with a black belt in kickboxing, fountain pens and cutlery. Sorry people, flying is still dangerous.

Monday Steve and I hopped on the train to go back down south, it all went well until just before Dordrecht. Apparently the train did not go to breda, which is the station I had to switch to got to Etten leur and Steve had to change for Tilburg. From Dordrecht we catched a stoptrain to Roosendaal. In Roosendaal there were about 3 busloads full of people waiting for a bus to Breda. Luckily we found a bus who brought us to Etten Leur. Thank you very much public transport for not driving to or from Breda!
