1001 and 1 night
Anoushka and I decided to do some serious dancing on Friday. It all went well, they played all our request, the food afterwards was not to bad and we didn't bumb into a lot of annoying people. Accept Anoushka and Joyce's dart partner, yes you heard it correctly. If being a dart partner of 2 girls is not bad enough....he decided to share is whole life story. So thank you Robert, that was the only thing missing on this almost perfect night out....your rambling.
Saturday I had no plans, so I tried to do as less as possible. Because I was in a good mood I waved to my neighbours girlfriend, which I think she found horrible of me...?! (she looked really frightened then mad then confused and then back to mad again)
Saturday evening I had to work, but not at with my beloved lamps, no we were going to rebuild the whole textile department. So the kickoff was at 8pm, some instructions and every 'team' got a different color shirt. We were the last team, and we had the white unflattering shirts. Luckily there were several sizes, only not the white shirts. They were all Medium sized, and that even meant for my colleague (twice my size, with -and length wise) that it was hug....imagine that!
There was entertainment, there was a DJ, there was food there was even a lovely lady who did henna tatoes. You might think that is a bit weird, I thought so to....but because we rebuilded the carpets department they made it into a 1001 and 1 night/Aladin theme. Which was hilarious, when else do you see your colleges (sober and in very white light) dancing and singing 'Paradise By The Dashboard Light'.
My work was done earlier then expected so I was home at 12.45am. On the condition that I would be back at 6am to rewire some things.
Six in the morning is normally not such a big problem, only I chated to Steve for an hour and a half (he is in sunny Portugal, surfing...bastard! ) Then my brother and friends decided to start singing in the garden in the middle of the night so that meant I fell asleep at 04.50am. Nice if you have to get out at 5am....
Good, but quit weekend. Now it is time to wave to my neighbours girlfriend again...see how she will respond today :)
